Visitor invites (pre-registration)

Invites (sometimes called pre-registration) in the admin dashboard let you schedule visits in advance: you define guest details, time window, visitor type, and host, and the guest can receive the invitation by email according to your workflow.

Invites list

The Pending invites view lists scheduled invitations. You can search and filter (for example by first name, last name, visitor type, or department, depending on your configuration).

Use Create new invite (or equivalent) to open the Schedule a meeting form.

Schedule a meeting

When creating or editing an invite you typically set:

  • Start and end date and time
  • Guest first name, last name, and email
  • Visitor type and host (when your account uses those fields)
  • Other options your organisation has enabled

Saving the invite adds it to the list so reception and security staff can see expected visitors.

Permissions

The Invites menu is only shown when your account and user role allow it. If the menu is missing, contact an administrator.
