Evacuation mode and alerts

The Evacuation section in the admin dashboard helps you respond to emergencies at a selected location.

Send an evacuation message

You can send an evacuation notification to visitors who are currently signed in at that location (using the email addresses on their visits). On plans that include SMS for this workflow, SMS may also be sent to phone numbers on those visits, where available.

You will be asked to confirm before any message is sent.

Evacuation mode on the visitor kiosk

You can turn evacuation mode on or off for the location. When evacuation mode is active, the kiosk behaviour follows your configuration—for example switching to a fire / emergency screen and disabling normal sign-in and sign-out until the mode is cleared.

Saving changes may require permission to edit evacuation settings.

Roll call

From the evacuation page you can open Roll call to see the list of signed-in visitors for the same location.
